Blair Hull lives in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood. He is entrepreneur with an impressive career. He currently owns Matlock Capital.

Through hard work he went from a floor trader in the pits of the Chicago Board Options Exchange to the founder of The Hull Group. The Hull Group has since become the world's premier securities firm. Blair Hull set's the bid-ask price on stocks in over 28 exchanges in more than 8 countries. Blair Hull has also set personal standards as a successful business man.

Blair Hull graduated in 1965 from University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor's in mathematics and in 1969 from Santa Clara University with an MBA, Blair Hull worked as a high school math and physics teacher. Blair Hull served on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Board Options Exchange from 1988 to 1990 and on the Board of the Options Clearing Corporation from 1992 to 1998. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of BARRA, Inc., a provider of portfolio and enterprise risk management tools in Berkeley, California. Blair Hull holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of California Santa Barbara, a Master of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University and graduated from the Harvard OPM Program.
